Outpatient Psychotherapy


At B.E.E., psychotherapy is designed to help meet the mental health needs of our community. Our highly trained staff are available to support the individuals needs through in-person or telehealth sessions. Individuals age 4 and up, couples, and families are eligible for our outpatient psychotherapy services.
Our Providers
Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a master’s degree in social work. She is a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and is certified in treating Autism Spectrum co-morbidities and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is the clinical director of the psychotherapy program at B.E.E.. Melissa has over a decade of experience in both clinical behavioral health settings and caregiver settings such as residential treatment facilities and group homes, as well as nearly four years’ experience providing treatment in a Dialectical Behavior Therapy focused partial hospitalization program. Melissa is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and is currently working toward formal certification. Her approach is direct and prioritizes meeting clients where they are at.
Melissa’s goal is to help clients align themselves with their value systems, develop effective coping skills, enhance mindfulness practices, and build a life they deem as worth living.

Meghan Callan
Meghan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and holds a master's degree in clinical psychology and marriage and family therapy. She has over a decade of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in behavioral health settings such as schools, partial hospitalization programs, community support, and mental health agencies within the Los Angeles and Western Wisconsin areas. She is bilingual and offers services in both English and Spanish. Meghan’s approach is warm, collaborative, and insight oriented. She integrates attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, family systems theory, and evidence-based practices such as narrative, contextual, and person-centered therapies to help clients understand how past experiences and relationships shape their present lives.
Meghan believes that therapy is an opportunity for transformation, healing, and creating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. She strives to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to better understand yourself and your relationships. She is equipped with insight and tools to help you live to your highest potential.


Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor – In Training and holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. She has been working as a therapist for about two years but has over a decade of experience in mental health and sobriety in settings such as addiction treatment centers, sober living houses, and residential treatment facilities. Ashley’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and person-centered. She draws from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, narrative, and existential approaches to help clients identify negative thinking patterns, integrate coping skills into their daily lives, and explore personal meaning and identity.
Ashley’s goal is to assist her clients in navigating core human anxieties. She aims to create a space for growth, healing, and development and walks alongside her clients as they find their voice and confidence to live their happiest and healthiest lives.

What does a psychotherapy intake look like at B.E.E.?
The psychotherapy intake process at B.E.E. begins when you reach out via interest form online, phone, or email and express interest in establishing outpatient psychotherapy services. Once our Office Manager receives your referral, we will contact you by phone to collect some basic information and schedule your intake appointment. A link to the TherapyNotes Portal will then be sent to your email, where you will find your intake paperwork, which needs to be completed prior to your intake appointment. During your first session, you will review the completed intake documents with the provider and discuss your individual treatment goals.
Do you accept my insurance?
Please contact our office to confirm if we accept your insurance and contact your insurance company to receive information on deductibles and co-pays.
Am I eligible for services?
Please contact our office with any specific questions relevant to your treatment such as type of service, therapeutic concerns, or any other information or questions you may have regarding your eligibility.
How does private pay work?
Payment is required at the time of session and will be charged to the credit card on file. Our standard rate is $80 for a 25-minute session and $160 for a 50-minute session.
What is the typical length of therapy treatment?
The length of treatment is dependent on the needs of the client and their individual treatment goals and progress. Short-term therapy goals typically range from 5-20 sessions, medium-term goals typically range from 3-6 months, and long-term goals typically range from 6-12 months. You and your provider will determine the estimated duration and frequency of treatment together.
What if I feel like it's not a good fit?
If you or your provider feel B.E.E. is not a good fit for your individual needs, B.E.E. will offer you a list of referrals to other local providers who may be better fit.
